Establishing Business Credit Overview

We have broken the process into eight (8) basic steps to build your business credit, they are:

Step 1 – Establish a business entity and verify that all of the items on the entity check list our completed.  The system was developed so that any business can utilize the information to verify that when it applies for business credit, it will be seen in its best light.  Every item needs to be complete, for as you will learn, each part builds upon itself, so leaving out one or two parts jeopardizes the entity as a whole for validity.

Step 2 – Apply and obtain accounts with Level I creditors using the accounts and paying them on time.

Step 3 – Wait until these Level I creditors report your positive payment experience to the credit bureaus prior to proceeding to the next step.

Step 4 – Apply and obtain accounts with Level II creditors using the accounts and paying them on time.

Step 5 – Wait until these Level II creditors report your positive payment experience to the credit bureaus prior to proceeding to the next step.

Step 6 – Apply and obtain accounts with Level III creditors using the accounts and paying them on time.

Step 7 – Wait until these Level III creditors report your positive payment experience to the credit bureaus prior to proceeding to the next step.

Step 8 – Apply and obtain Credit accounts with Level IV creditors using the accounts and paying them on time.

So that is the process, not glamorous but effective.  So prior to applying for our first account, we will go through the master checklist of items that need to be completed in their entirety (meaning that third parties such as search engines and the like can verify the information.)
